Species Description A perennial herb. Stems are 3-5 dm long. Yellow flower heads are arranged in clusters.
Habitat Dry habitats; probably grasslands or shrublands.
Global Range No current range; known historically from Kahoolawe.
Abundance Currently unknown, last collected in 1931.
Global Threats Threats unknown, included goats, erosion, and fire in the past.
Global Fragility Fragility unknown.

Permanence Perennial.
Taxonomic Comments Genus endemic to hawaiian islands, species endemic to kahoolawe.
