Species Description A perennial rambling vine with 1-2 m long stems. Flowers are whitish or pale yellow, with pinkish-purple lips.
Habitat Diverse mesic forest. Under canopy of metrosideros, eugenia, osmanthus and myrsine.
Global Range Southern waianae mountains.
Abundance Two plants seen 1995 (destroyed 1996).
Global Rank Considerations Cultivated plants died (joel lau, via roy kam, personal communication 1/99).
Global Threats Threats to this species' habitats include feral pigs and alien plants.
Global Fragility Fragility unknown.
Current Protection Status Occurrences in honouliuli preserve.
Permanence Perennial.
