Range An endemic tree of the Khasi Hills in Meghalaya. Population The species has not been collected since 1877 and is presumed extinct. Habitat and Ecology Occurred in subtropical forest between 1,000 and 1,500 m. Threats There have been significant declines in the extent of the habitat, largely caused by extensive agriculture and fires.
