It seems to me that no one else has ever seen it in Europe.

Actually, for the family of this species, Boletus is more different from and don't totally resemble Polyporus in appearance!

I think it has been classified into wrong synonym and taxonomy.

I want to know the source of B. violascens. Where did you find?
