Selenicereus innesiifamily: Cactaceae There seems to be a bit doubt about the classification of this plant, some think it may be of hybrid origin others see it as a full species. Its distribution seems to have been limited to the island of Saint Vincent / Saint Vincent & Grenadines, where its habitat was more or less lost. The final cut was made after the eruptiion of the volcano Soufrière in the year 1997. I have a crude picture of the plant on my website: www.kakteen.minks-lang.de/arten.englisch/selenicereus.innesii1.html
