from the French pyrenees. Last seen in the wild in 1960. However, there are seeds in the Botanical Institute in Orsay.

The link says that it is still being grown by horticulturalists, so should we not move it to the "extinct in the wild" forum?

The link says that it is still being grown by horticulturalists, so should we not move it to the "extinct in the wild" forum? Yes, you are right. They have tried to germinate the seedlings since the late 1970s but I don't know whether they are still successful.
