The Singapore orchid (Dendrobium laciniosum = Flickingeria laciniosa, <19 cm in height) is now globally extinct. It was only ever collected once, and this was in Singapore in 1891.

One of these is the “Singapore orchid” (Dendrobium laciniosum);just a single example of this flower was ever collected, back in 1891, and it is sadly now extinct.
