Strychnos ridleyi, a forest climbing shrub from Singapore in the strychnine family, Loganiaceae, is now also globally extinct.

This poorly known plant (we do not even know how high it grows) was named and described by George King and James Sykes Gamble in 1908 from a specimen collected from Tuas in 1894. It has never been seen since.
