Liparis uchiyamaeFamily: Orchidaceae This species is endemic to Amami Oshima and is listed as EW by the latest Japanese Red List. It is cultivated widely. Synonyms of Liparis uchiyamae are Liparis bootanensis Griff. var. uchiyamae and Liparis bootanensis that is seen commonly in Southeastern Asia. I'm not sure whether it is a distant species or a subspecies of Liparis bootanensis. hanapon.karakuri-yashiki.com/kinoesasaran.html www.biodic.go.jp/cgi-db/gen/RDB_G2000_SY.RDB_DETAIL2?gaku_n=Liparis+uchiyamae&wamei=%A5%AD%A5%CE%A5%A8%A5%B5%A5%B5%A5%E9%A5%F3Reference: Bull.
