"Although several previously funded surveys by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS) and the National tropical Botanical garden (NtBg) between 1993 and present had failed to relocate any living individuals of the Kaua‘i endemic Melicope quadrangularis (Rutaceae), a recent USFWS-funded survey has brought about its rediscovery and is reported here."
