Brassica crops in certain areas of Britain have almost been wiped out by Ringspot. 30 years ago these crops could have been bred with Old Cornish cauliflower which was highly resistant to Ringspot. However, at bout the same time, Old Cornish was replaced by most growers with French stock that shipped better but was not resistant to Ringspot. Today, old Cornish no longer exists.
