"Ceropegia dubia is only known from cultivated plants and no wild populations have been found in the Eastern Cape to date, although the type material was reported to have been collected from there. It is very similar to Ceropegia meyeri-johannis, a species from Tropical East Africa, and the possibility that it is the same species cannot be excluded."
